lithophane lampshade is a unique, custom-made lampshade that reveals a hidden image when light shines through it. These fit the custom lamps I make in the Custom lamps section of this site. You will submit your photos via a google drive or dropbox link or I can send you a form via email once your order is placed!

Instead of using ink or paint, the design is created by varying the thickness of the material (usually 3D printed plastic or porcelain). When the lamp is turned on, light passes through the thinner and thicker areas differently—bringing your photo or design to life in a soft, glowing, almost 3D effect.
